Hello, My Name is Tammie Flowers

I have always loved reading, and traveling. And one day hope to retire and do more of the two.  I have been married to a wonderful and handsome man for 29 years and counting. We have two wonderful kids, our daughter is 25 and has blessed us with a beautiful look a like granddaughter who is 5 yrs old and full of imagination and sings all the time.  We also have a Son who is 19 and extremely creative and very musical, he plays just about anything he gets in his hands.  I have been working for 28 years as a neonatal intensive care registered nurse and have loved my babies and families, but I also always dreamed of being a writer and designer.  I have written 6 books but this is my first published book, and I have a small boutique that I own in a quaint little antique village in our town of Denham Springs, LA.  We moved here almost 6 years ago after Hurricane Katrina displaced our families in Mobile, AL and yes we did have a lot of damage in AL, MS too. 

I first was encouraged by a college professor in a creative writing class to pursue writing, he told me my stories were wonderful and well thought out and I will never forget his complements because I highly respected him, but he told me if my spelling was better and my grammar perfect that would be icing on the cake. That was many years before spell check. Thank God for that.  I hope you like my book and I hope one day to see it in print, and many more. I sincerely thank you Tammie Flowers.
