Suzanne Embree

Suzanne lives in sunny Central Alberta with her husband Mark in a little crooked house that is over a hundred years old. In the winter they can be found playing at the local theatre where Suzanne loves to act, direct, or stage-manage. At the moment she is the president of the troop. Mark, he likes to play with sounds and stay away from the spotlight.

In the summer they can be found in the back yard by their fishpond under a lush canopy of trees or camping by a lake. Mark is slowly converting the house to solar and wind power while Suzanne finds it best if she stays in her garden or kitchen and out of his way.

Suzanne’s love of writing was greatly encouraged by both her mother and grandmother when she was a child. Their stories of fairies, teddy bears and picnics spawned Suzanne’s vivid imagination. It was Star Trek, she confesses that influenced the rest.
